I was definitely disappointed when the MacBook Air was released without a a port so that a lock could be attached to secure it to a desk. It didn’t keep me from buying the MacBook Air but I was always hoping they would fix it next time around.
A company called Maclocks has apparently tried to create an alternative solution with some sort of weird case/lock combination. I still don’t understand exactly how it works, but I don’t like the idea of having to attach some sort of case. I even more dislike the $130 price1. Needless to say, I won’t be purchasing one.
