Steve Sande of TUAW has the information on the new iOS apps MLB At Bat 11. But Major League Baseball isn’t making it easy:
Major League Baseball apparently didn’t listen to user complaints from last year, however. The iPad and iPhone apps are still separate apps, and each costs $14.99. On top of that insult, the league advertises in articles found in the app.
$15 per year for this app is pretty steep. I bought it last year, but remain undecided so far for this year’s version. The streaming radio is nice, but most of the other information can be achieved cheaper, or for free, from other places.
