Phil Steele has posted his preseason Big 10 teams, all four of them. Unsurpisingly, Michigan has very few players on the lists:
1st Team
DT – Mike Martin
2nd Team
C – David Molk1
P – Will Hagerup
3rd Team
QB – Denard Robinson
WR – Roy Roundtree
OG – Patrick Omameh
LB – Kenny Demens
4th Team
DE – Ryan Van Bergen
No real surpises on offense. Denard is behind Persa and Cousins which is probably accurate when you consider that he is learning a new offense. No Michigan RB provides much excitement and Roundtree is about where he should be.
Defense is a little different. Demens couldn’t crack the starting lineup until late last year and now he’s third team. I hope that’s accurate because he looked sharp at times last year. I know Troy Woolfolk missed all of last year, but I find it hard to believe he isn’t one of the 9 best CBs in the Big Ten.

- Molk lucks out, because he is likely the 2nd best center in the country. The problem is that Mike Brewster from Ohio St. is #1 [↩]
