I like a few ABC shows but the new crop doesn’t look particularly promising.
- Pan Am doesn’t look remotely appealing. I am sure who the target audience is, but I couldn’t figure it out.
- If Work It lasts five episodes, I have lost faith in humanity.
- ABC says that Scandal is from Executive Producers of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice. What they really meant is, let’s see if we can rip off those shows but with lawyers.
- Charlie’s Angels is clearly hoping Minka Kelly is enough to get people in the door and that the show doesn’t suck.
- Suburgatory continues my concerns that ABC doesn’t have anything good up their sleeve.
- I think James VanderBeek is playing himself in Apartment 23. That’s all I got from that one.
- Tim Allen makes his return to TV in Last Man Standing which has the most potential of any of these so far. Home Improvement is still funny after all this time.
- Once Upon a Time is about a woman who ends up in some sort of alternative universe filled with storybook characters. Not my thing.
- Revenge is some sort of mystery/thriller about a girl who goes back to the Hamptons to get revenge on people. I am not interested in finding out the truth.
- Man Up looks up my alley but probably doesn’t have staying power. I probably could be on this show. I like Teri Polo too.
- The River seems like one of the many Lost ripoffs that keep popping up.
