Daniel Hudson Continues to Make Kenny Williams Look Bad
- beyondtheboxscore.com

Dave Gershman of Beyond the Box Score on former White Sox pitcher Daniel Hudson:

Not only is Daniel Hudson one of baseball’s most effective arms, but he’s also one of the most unheralded. His name is always forgotten when the elitest [sic] of the elite arms, or “aces” if you will, are discussed. In addition, over the past year, he’s progressed and improved a great deal by continuing to limit fly balls and baserunners.

All signs continue to point to the Edwin Jackson for Daniel Hudson swap being Kenny Williams biggest misstep. Hudson just keeps getting better and although Edwin Jackson has been better than his stats show, he is gone after this season.

Williams seems to have been slipping the last few years. Add this trade to the Jake Peavy one, plus Alex Rios and Adam Dunn and things don’t look so good.
