I try avoid linking to other link posts, but John Gruber is a smart guy:
Restated for today, mobile OS competitors need to let go of the notion that for them to succeed, Apple has to lose. Compare and contrast HP’s attitude with RIM’s.
Gruber said this in response to a Jim Dalrymple article about HP’s stance to not “target” Apple with the TouchPad, but to focus on other areas of the market.
It’s a very good point that Gruber makes. I think more companies need to think that way.
