The show’s first day of shooting is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 8, according to a report in EW. Jon Hamm will be directing the Season 5 premiere, making his directorial debut.
Good news, but still anxiously awaiting the official premiere date1. Mad Men is my favorite show on TV right now and I can’t wait to see where this season takes us. We know there will be a season 7, but it’s up in the air after that. If I was betting, I would say there will be a season 8, but not a season 10.
