Please Never Say iTouch

This post refers to shawnblanc.net

Shawn Blanc reminds us about one of my biggest pet peeves:

PRODUCT NAMES THAT DON’T EVEN EXIST
    – iTouch

The entirety of Blanc’s article is the correct placement of capital letters in product names, all tech-related. For example, TextExpander has a capital in the middle, Typekit does not. It’s really only an interesting list if you are a geek.

BUT, I hate when people say “iTouch”. There is no such device and never has been. It would be like calling a DVD player a “Dplayer”. You can’t just change letters and words because you want to save yourself one syllable. Even I am not that lazy.
