An interest and free Mac Application called ControlPlane. I had been craving an application like this a while back and it’s nice to see that someone finally ran with it. The idea being that you can set up triggers and then execute steps accordingly.
For example, I have my MacBook Pro docked to a Henge Dock, so it’s usually in “clam shell” mode and connected both to a monitor and Ethernet. I could setup ControlPlane so that whenever the computer was NOT connected to a monitor it enabled WiFi.
I haven’t tried it yet, but I will be.
