MLB.com At Bat App Details Revealed

Phillip Michaels:

MLB.com At Bat 12 is a free download, with the same basic scoreboard functionality as the old lite version of the app. A $15 in-app purchase enables features that were previously only available on the paid version of the apps: Pitch-by-pitch updates, in-game video highlights, pitch tracking, and live audio broadcasts of each game. There’s also live video of one MLB.com-selected game each day.

So the details are finally out there. Nothing has really changed from previous years. $15 still gets you a decent amount, but I opted to pass up the premium version last season and didn’t miss it. Pitch-by-pitch is available on a few websites for fee, and while the live audio is nice, my team isn’t good enough for me to need to listen all the time.
