Comcast’s Xfinity TV service, HBO Go and MLB.TV will launch on Xbox Live Tuesday as Microsoft continues to turn its Xbox 360 videogame console into a broader entertainment platform.

Add that to YouTube, Nefllix, Hulu and ESPN. The Xbox is suddenly becoming quite the little media device. I don’t fully understand or know what the Xfinity app gets you, but it’s clear that the Xbox has the potential to more of cable box replacement going forward.
