Continuing the Thursday trend, EA released a new video for NCAA Football 13. This one features my Michigan Wolverines vs. the Maryland Terrapins and shows off some specific plays.
One of them is the read option, which I have had mixed success with. Often, the defensive players are too fast to react and even if you read it correctly, it’s hard to get any separation. The hope is that if they have finally made the game so that player’s have to actually be looked at the play to react that quickly it will work better.
The way wide receivers get better separation is cool. It will finally be more realistic that just having to time when your receiver will be open, or being in a situation where once they are covered you have no chance.
