Larry from South Side Sox:
Since the beginning of 2010, his line is .311/.394/.560 and a .404 wOBA. A rather remarkable achievement, particularly in these post-Steroid Era days. To put his hitting performance into perspective, only Miguel Cabrera, Jose Bautista, Joey Votto and Josh Hamilton have higher wOBAs over that same time period.
That is an amazing stat. Konerko has been out of this world the last 2+ seasons. I stand by my feeling that he (along with Buehrle) is a lock to get his number retired by the White Sox. He has carried the White Sox offense since the start of last season.
