Interesting piece on Roger Goodell’s relationship with players. Goodell is essentially the CEO of the NFL. His decisions will always be (and should be) in the best interest of the league, not necessarily the players and owners. And the argument of fines for illegal hits is counterintuitive when so many former players have long term issues.
